Description

The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to Installation of one (1) destratification fan and two (2) mini-split heat pump systems in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov. Subject line must include the IFB No. 126152, Destratification Fan Installation and Contractor Business Name. Bidders are not required to visit the worksite.¿Bidders are responsible for satisfying themselves as to the local conditions, to accurately measure area and ensure the actual area of work for the preparation of their bid.¿Contractors bidding without visiting the worksite, do so at their own risk.¿Bidders can schedule a worksite visit by contacting CPT Garrett Sawtelle at Garrett.sawtelle@cmd.ca.gov. In fairness to all bidders in the competitive process, contractors shall not have the opportunity to adjust their price after proposal submission. Contractors must account for cost fluctuation and material logistics in the market when bidding. The prime contractor MUST possess a type B - General Building Contractor license and/or C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 3/5/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 126152. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The bid opening will be held on 3/19/2026 at 2:15 PM.
