In addition to the painting several small areas of existing installation on the tank will need to be repaired prior to painting of that area. The primary purpose of this project is to increase the radiant energy of the sun that is absorbed by the surface of the tank and reduce the heat loss from the tank which maintains liquid at a temperature of 140 deg. F.
