Uploaded December 20, 2022 PDF Format Post Date: May 20, 2022 ELECTRONIC-ONLY LETTER OF INTENT (LOI) SUBMISSION PURPOSE The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) prioritizes increasing access and quality to early childhood services to meet the needs of children, families and communities. In an effort to expand, ECECD has committed 10 million dollars from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) (Sec. 2202, Public Law 117-2) Child Care Stabilization Administration Funds to support the New Mexico Child Care Supply Building Grant. The Child Care Supply Building Grant is a competitive grant. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and funds awarded will be subject to the requirements and restrictions outlined in the Information Memorandum related to the ARPA Child Care Stabilization and ECECD’s 5 Star capacity and group ratio as detailed in the FOCUS Essential Elements . Letter of Intent (LOI) is required for consideration: Interested applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) that meets the criteria set forth in the Notice of Funding Opportunity below. LOIs that demonstrate the ability to increase access to child care will receive a link from the New Mexico Finance Authority via email with access and instructions on how to complete s full application within 30 days of submitting an LOI.Qualified Applicants: The LOI must be submitted to ECECD.FederalProgram@state.nm.us .
