Print Bid Title: Restoration of Walking Trail - Wayne, Nebraska Category: Current Bids & RFPs Status: Closed Description: NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CITY OF WAYNE IMPROVEMENTS WAYNE, NEBRASKA Separate sealed proposals will be received at the City of Wayne, City Clerk's Office, 306 Pearl Street, Wayne, Nebraska, 68787, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on the 11th day of March, 2020, for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment and plant, and all else necessary to properly construct the RESTORATION OF WALKING TRAIL WAYNE, NEBRASKA At which hour, or as soon as possible thereafter, the City of Wayne, Nebraska will proceed to publicly open in the presence of bidders and consider the bids received for the furnishing of said labor, materials and equipment necessary for the proper construction of the improvements. Bids must be prepared on the forms provided by the Engineer. Any bid by a contractor that is not on the list of contractors documented by the Engineer will not be opened and will be deemed invalid. The extent of the work for said project includes generally the construction of the items listed below and other related preparatory work. Removal and replacement of 150 feet of sidewalk for the walking trail west of Highway 15 along Logan Creek. Removal and replacement of 151 feet of steel sheet piling stabilizing the north bank of Logan Creek west of Highway 15. Remove and replacement of 129 feet of railing for the walking trail west of Highway 15 along Logan Creek. Replace approximately 420 cubic yards of fill material along north bank of Logan Creek west of Highway 15. Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Wayne, City Clerk's office at 306 Pearl Street, Wayne, Nebraska, and may be procured from the office of the Engineer, LEO A DALY, Attention: David Wiggins/Shonn Marxon, 8600 Indian Hills Drive, Omaha, NE, 68114, upon the payment of $50.00 for a CD of the contract documents.
