Print Bid Title: Hearing Officer for the Natrona County Board of Equalization Category: Board of County Commissioners Status: Closed Description: The Board of Natrona County Commissioners (the "BOCC") seeks proposals in accordance with the Request for Proposals Instructions. Scope of Services. Provide legal services as a hearing officer for the Natrona County Board of Equalization as needed and as further described in the Instructions and attachments (collectively "Services") for a period ending December 31, 2022. Provide all personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform Services. Prior to the deadline to submit proposals, the BOCC may issue addendums to the Request for Proposals (RFP). Center St, Ste. 115 Casper, WY 82601 307-235-9202 Qualifications: The hearing officer may be an individual attorney or a law firm in which multiple attorneys may act as the Hearing Officer. Whether an individual attorney or an attorney from a law firm, the particular attorney performing Services must meet the requirements herein. 1. Hearing Office must be well versed in the Wyoming Administrative Procedures Act. 2. Hearing Officer must be well versed in the law governing the authority of a hearing officer. 3. Hearing Officer must have a working knowledge of the law governing the authority of a county board of equalization. 4. Hearing Officer must have a working knowledge of the rules of evidence applicable to county board of equalization hearings. 5. Hearing Officer must have the ability to assure a sufficient record for each docketed property tax assessment appeal ("Appeal"). 6. Hearing Officer must have a working knowledge of the law applicable to findings of fact and conclusions of law for county board of equalization cases.
