Engineer's Estimate: $2,325,000.00 Deadline for Questions: Wednesday, March 18, 2026, by 8am and submit to Bids@snopud.com Responses to Questions Posted: on or before Thursday, March 19, 2025, by 4:30pm Project Description: Work Description and Site: Provide all labor, equipment, tools, material and incidentals necessary to rebuild twelve needle valves associated with two 52-MW vertical Pelton turbines, Units 1 and 2, at the Jackson Powerhouse. Work includes removing needle valves, rigging and handling, transporting the needle valves to a rebuild location, and replacing gaskets, O-rings, bushing hardware and necessary machine work and/or other components within the needle valves before reinstalling the needle valves in their original location. Included within this scope are functions such as maintaining a confined space entry program, air-handling, sump-pumps for dewatering, dust-containment, lead-abatement, oil containment, fabrication of special tooling and stands for disassembly and reassembly, and any other items reasonably related to performance of the needle valve rebuilds. In addition to the needle valve work, the work area shall be re-coated upon completion. Alternate work includes ancillary work on the associated cooling water system and Pelton turbines. The location of the work is at 31411 116 th St. SE, near the city of Sultan, WA, in Snohomish County.
