Description

Columbus City Schools is required to complete an AHERA re-inspection every 3 years. The federal regulation that governs this work is 40 CFR Part 763, Asbestos-Containing Materials in Schools; Final Rule and Notice as published in the October 30, 1987 Federal Register. The goal of this bid is to keep Columbus City Schools in compliance with this regulation. Details of this bid: This bid is for Phase 1, covering roughly half of the district. Reports are required within 3 months of the purchase order date. Attached to the bid, there must be a document to help ensure that a responsible bidder is chosen, this must contain: Experience of the firm (or firms, if partnering) in this type of work Specific experience in the State of Ohio working for local boards of education If applicable, a list of school districts for which similiar work has been performed Titles, list of State of Ohio accredidation certificates and corresponding numbers for each person who will participate in the work and experience of personnel who will be involved in this work The name, contact information, emergency contact information, and certifications of the lead person to be assigned to this work and who will be maintaining day-to-day supervision of this work Names of the laboratories be employed for any testing Attached to this bid there must be a sample report that is similiar to the attached 2017reports Any questions must be submitted through Public Purchase no later than 5:00pm on 2/27/2026.
