Print Bid Title: Qualifying Insurance Agencies to Quote North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund Coverage City of Bismarck Category: Administration Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FROM INSURANCE AGENTS QUALIFYING INSURANCE AGENCIES TO QUOTE NORTH DAKOTA INSURANCE RESERVE FUND COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF BISMARCK The Office of City Administration for the City of Bismarck is taking proposals from insurance companies to qualify them to quote insurance coverage for the City of Bismarck through the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund for a period to be determined by the Bismarck Board of City Commissioners. If the City elects to secure coverage with NDIRF, the selected agent would continue as the City’s agent for a term as determined by the City Commission. To qualify, an agency should have experience in providing services to governmental entities or other large commercial liability policies. Minimum agency requirements are available in the office of the City Administrator, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota. It is anticipated that the agent will be chosen by lottery from among the insurance companies meeting the qualifications. Proposals must be returned to the office of the City Administrator at 221 North 5th Street, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota 58506-5503, no later than 4 P.M. on June 21, 2019.
