Print Bid Title: Structure Improvements and Guardrail Category: Highway Department Status: Closed Description: Brookings County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Structure Improvements and Guardrail SN 06-112-080 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Brookings County at the County Commission Office located at 520 3rd Street, Suite 210, Brookings, South Dakota 57006, until Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Structure Improvements including Abutment Modifications, Deck Overlay, Approach Slabs, Bridge Rail Improvements, and Zone Painting with Cold Milling and Asphalt Concrete Paving, and Guardrail. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: www.bannerassociates.com/bid-information Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Banner Associates, Inc., 409 22nd Avenue South, Brookings, SD 57006, phone: (855) 3232-6342 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon a non-refundable payment in the sum of $48.00 including applicable taxes and fees for each set of Bidding Documents. Electronic copies are also available and can be ordered and downloaded from the above website for a $25.00 non-refundable fee. Upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one copy of electronic or paper Bidding Documents shall be furnished, without charge, to each prime contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to submit a bid to the Owner. Additionally, if a paper copy is provided under the conditions of SDCL 5-18B-1, in consideration of the documents being provided at no charge, unsuccessful bidders agree to return the documents to the office of Banner Associates, at the address listed above, within thirty (30) days after the bid opening.
