Print Bid Number: 19-16 Bid Title: Public Works South Sewer Main Replacement Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: Bid 19-16: PUBLIC WORKS SOUTH SEWER MAIN REPLACEMENT Notice is hereby given that the Town of Jackson, Wyoming, hereinafter referred to as the “Owner” will r eceive sealed bids at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Jackson, P.O. Box 1687, 150 East Pearl Avenue, Jackson, Wyoming 83001 up to but not later than 1:00 p.m. MST on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 , for the Town of Jackson, PUBLIC WORKS SOUTH SEWER MAIN REPLACEMENT. The project includes construction of approximately 600 linear feet of 8-inch PVC pipe, 2 manholes, sewer service lines, sewer service connections, abandonment of existing pipes and manholes, and other related appurtenances. The project is scheduled to commence on April 8, 2019 and be completed and ready for final payment by June 7, 2019. Bidding Contractors must purchase one (1) Set of Contract Documents (includes one (1) set of Plans and one (1) Project Manual) from Stinky Prints via the Town of Jackson online plan room www.townofjacksonplanroom.com . Contact the Town Engineering department at 307 733-3079 or for instructions and job key. Electronic copies can be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 through the online plan room, and paper copies can be purchased for the cost of printing from Stinky Prints, Inc., 260 E. Broadway, Jackson, WY 83001 (Phone: 307-690-8892). Questions regarding the Contract Documents should be directed to the Matt Ostdiek P.E., Rendezvous Engineering, P.C. (Phone: 307-733-5252). A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting shall be conducted at the Town of Jackson Public Works Shop at 450 West Snow King Avenue, Jackson, WY 83001 on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM (MST). The envelope containing the sealed bids shall be clearly marked to indicate that it is a proposal for the above-named project and shall show the name and address of the bidder. Such proposals will be received by the Owner and will be opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated times. Each proposal must conform and be responsible to all pertinent Project Drawings and acknowledge receipt of all addendums to the project. All proposals must be accompanied by a Cashier’s Check, Irrevocable Letter of Credit or a Bid Bond, executed by the bidder, as Principal, and a satisfactory surety company, executed in favor of the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the proposals. Bid Bond shall be accompanied by a certified copy of Power of Attorney and signed or countersigned by an agent of the bonding company. The Cashier’s Check, Irrevocable Letter of Credit or Bid Bond will be retained by the Owner as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a contract or to furnish a Contractor’s Payment and Performance Bond, and meet the required provisions for insurance, within ten (10) days after being notified of the award of the Contract. Performance and Payment Bond or other collateral or surety acceptable to the Owner shall be furnished by the successful bidder each in the amount of one hundred and twenty five percent (125%) of the contract price. Such Performance and Payment Bonds shall be accompanied by a certified copy of Power of Attorney and shall be signed or countersigned by a Wyoming resident agent of the bonding company. A five percent (5%) preference shall be given to Wyoming contractors as defined by Wyoming Statutes 1977, Section 16-6-101, pursuant to the provisions of Section 16-6-102. A successful resident bidder shall subcontract pursuant to Wyoming Statutes 1977, Section 16-6-103. Preference shall be given to Wyoming laborers and material pursuant to Wyoming Statutes 1977, Section 16-6-104. Contractors who are certified by the State of Wyoming as Wyoming Residents must provide a copy of their Wyoming State Residency Certificate to be recognized as Wyoming contractors. Attention is also called to the provisions of Wyoming Statutes, 1977, Section 16-6-201 thru 206 pertaining to the preference for state laborers. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities or formalities in the proposals.
