Campbell Lot Bid Event Date: March 14, 2026 Invitation to Bid: City of Barre's Seminary Street | Campbell Parking Lot | West Street Improvements The City of Barre is pleased to issue an Invitation to Bid for the construction of improvements to Seminary Street, the Campbell Parking Lot, and West Street in downtown Barre. The City of Barre proposes roadway and parking lot improvements in downtown Barre. The proposed project encompasses portions of Seminary Street, portions of West Street, Campbell Place, and the Campbell Parking Lot located between Campbell Place and West Street. The Seminary Street portion of the project includes storm drain relocation, overhead electrical and communications utility removal and replacement with underground conduits and duct banks, water main extension, pavement resurfacing, construction of new curbed islands, and landscaping. The West Street portion of the project includes repairs to existing catch basin grates and manhole covers, pavement resurfacing, and limited sidewalk replacement. The reconstruction of the Campbell Parking Lot includes pavement removal, guard rail removal, and removal and resetting existing signage and parking meters, fine grading to improve drainage, pavement resurfacing, and installation of landscaped islands. The City of Barre, VT will receive bids at the Office of DeWolfe Engineering Associates, P.C. for the construction of improvements to Seminary Street, the Campbell parking Lot, and West Street in downtown Barre. Bids will be accepted until 4:00 pm, March 13, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically to Brian Lane-Karnas, P.E., of DeWolfe Engineering Associates, and the bid must have the subject line " Barre City Seminary/Campbell/West Improvements".
