Print Bid Number: 2025-01 Bid Title: MET Theatre Dimmer Replacement Category: Miscellaneous Status: Closed Description: Sealed Bids for the Met Theatre Dimmer Replacement will be received by THE CITY OF MORGANTOWN at the office of the FINANCE DIRECTOR until 2:00 pm local time on July 24, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be PUBLICLY opened and read. The Project consists of the removal and proper disposal of redundant electrical equipment and installation of new Electronic Theater Controls (ETC) lighting control system at The Metropolitan Theatre. This includes the installation of new wiring, conduit, panels, button stations, dimmers, and all other electrical devices related to the ETC, as well as modification and connection to the existing life-safety and electrical systems. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable NEC, NFPA and WV Fire Code regulations. On Site work may start immediately after Notice to Proceed is issued. A two-envelope system will be used. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Envelope No. 1 must contain the Bid Bond, Certification of Compliance, Power of Attorney, and all other necessary documents required on the Bid Opening Checklist. Envelope No. 2 must be a separate, sealed envelope marked "Bid Proposal" and must contain the completed and signed Bid Proposal. If the documents are not in order, the envelope containing the Bid Proposal will not be opened and the Bid will be considered non-responsive and will be returned to the Bidder. Both envelopes must have the following information in the lower left-hand corner: Name and address of Bidder, Bidder's WV Contractor's License Number, "Bid Call 2025-01 “Met Theatre Dimmer Replacement", City of Morgantown, 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia 26505. To be opened on July 24, 2024. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Morgantown’s Engineering and Public Works Department, 389 Spruce Street, 304-284-7412. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Finance Office, Monday through Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for each set. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “City of Morgantown.” Upon request and receipt of the document fee indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
