Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 103D, HRS, SEALED BID PROPOSALS for supplying, furnishing, and paying for all labor, materials, tools, transportation, and equipment necessary to construct in place complete, all work as called for on the plans and specifications for CENTRAL MAUI LANDFILL WIND TURBINE GENERATORS (WTG) , will be received by the Bid Receiver, Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, 2145 Wells Street, Suite 104, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793, up to and publicly opened at 2:00 P.M., on October 29, 2013 . This project involves procurement, construction and installation of three horizontal axis wind turbines (HAWT) mounted on concrete foundations at the wind barrier wall at Central Maui Landfill, Pulehu Rd., Puunene, Maui. Plans, specifications, and proposal forms on compact disk (CD) may be obtained at the Purchasing Division office. Bidders shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors. Prospective bidders are requested to attend a pre-bid meeting and job walk to be held October 10, 2013 , beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the landfill office at the facility, located on Pulehu Rd., Puunene, Maui. The Contractor and all Subcontractor(s), if any, shall comply with all applicable revisions of the prevailing wage rate schedule as required by Chapter 104, H.R.S. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders security: cash, a cashier's check or certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder's bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323, H.R.S. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted. _____________________________ DANILO F.
