Print Bid Title: Advertisement for Bids - Addition and Remodel WFPW Facilities Phase 2 Category: City of West Fargo RFP Status: Closed Description: 1.01 THE PROJECT The Work consists of separate General, Mechanical and Electrical Contracts with optional Single Prime Contract for the Project for the General Construction and Mechanical and Electrical Work for Types B and S-1 Occupancy. Project includes, but not limited to the following: Main Facility “M” ; 810 12th Ave. NW, West Fargo. Interior demolition and renovation of existing precast concrete office building. Entrance addition to the office building. Addition of a pre-engineered, rigid frame shop/garage building to the office building. Wood framed breezeway addition from new rigid frame structure to adjacent, existing post frame structure. Sanitation Facility “S” ; 117 8th St. W, West Fargo. Addition of a single span, pre-engineered rigid frame building to an existing masonry sanitation facility building. Demolition and remodel of existing toilet room/locker room area with a wood framed addition to existing wood framed, pitched roof office portion of this building. Associated reinforced concrete footings, foundation walls, floor systems related base material and backfill, finish grading and seeding, associated mechanical and electrical systems. Site work for buildings and parking lots, concrete curb and gutter only. Paving is by Owner. 1.02 THE OWNER (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS OWNER) City of West Fargo 2515 6th St. E West Fargo, ND 58078 1.03 DATE: JUNE 2025 1.04 TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS Sealed SEPARATE BASE BIDS will be received for GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, MECHANICAL WORK and ELECTRICAL WORK for the above referenced project. General Construction bidders may also submit a combined bid for all work. This bid will only be accepted if that bid is lower than all prime bid bids combined. All Bids will be received by the Owner until 2:00 P.M. Central Time on July 27th, 2025. Bids shall be delivered before the time and date above to the address listed above for the Owner, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Telephone and Fax Bids will not be allowed. All sealed Bids must state: Addition and Remodel, West Fargo Public Works Facilities, Phase 2 The Architect assumes no responsibility for receiving and delivering Contractor Bids to the bid opening. Pre-Bid Conference: July 17th, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Main Public Works Facility site; July 17th, 2025, 2:45 P.M. at Sanitation Facility site. All bids shall be in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by YHR Partners, Ltd., 420 Main Avenue, Moorhead, MN 56560. Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of the Architect as outlined below. All deposits and/ or payments for Bid Documents shall be made payable to "YHR Partners, Ltd.". Any bidding Contractor, subcontractor, material supplier/ vendor, and/ or testing agency may obtain electronic Bid Documents (digital download of pdf files) at no cost by completing and submitting the REQUEST FOR ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS form in Section 01 15 00. Upon request, a full set of printed hard copy Bid Documents may be obtained by any bidding Contractor, subcontractor, material supplier/ vendor, and/ or testing agency at a non-refundable cost of $250. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this regulation are explained in the specifications. Bidders are required to comply with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements. Davis-Bacon Wage Determination, Updated April 3, 2025 for Cass County, ND. Any lead service line replacements conducted under this Project must replace the entire lead service line, not just a portion, unless a portion has already been replaced or is concurrently being replaced with another funding source.
