Print Bid Number: P09/012 Bid Title: Accessibility Improvements at Various Park Facilities, Phase IV-C Category: Construction - All Construction Status: Closed Description: NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Advertisement to Bid Pursuant to Chapter 103-D, H.R.S., sealed bids for supplying, furnishing and paying for all labor, materials, tools, transportation and equipment necessary to construct in place complete, all work as called for in the plans and specifications for the ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS AT VARIOUS PARK FACILITIES PHASE IV-C, Project No. P09/012, for the Department of Parks and Recreation, County of Maui, will be received and time stamped by the Bid Receiver, Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, Wells Street Professional Center, 2145 Wells Street, Suite 104, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii up to and publicly opened at 2:00 P.M. on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2010. Plans, specifications, and proposal forms may be obtained at the office of the Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, Wells Street Professional Center, 2145 Wells Street, Suite 104, Wailuku Maui, Hawaii. Plans and specifications will be loaned to interested bidders; however, they must be returned intact and in good condition within 30 days after the bid opening date. Bidders, and all subcontractors, shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors The Contractor and his Subcontractor(s), if any, shall comply with all applicable revisions of the prevailing wage rate schedule as required under Chapter 104, H.R.S. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders’ security: cash, a cashier’s check or certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder’s bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted.
