Print Bid Number: 2019-004 Bid Title: 2019-004 Sidewalk Reconstruction Category: Highway & Road Construction Status: Closed Description: The work for the 2019 SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION (JEFFERSON & BRADLEY) shall consist of, but not be limited to, the complete and satisfactory construction of approximately 3,800 linear feet of granite curb; 440 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt; 820 cubic yards of aggregate base course; 100 square feet of detectable warning fields; 2,030 square feet of new crosswalk markings; alteration to 11 catch basin frames/covers; installation of 22 street trees; removal of 6 tree stumps; and all other incidental work as necessary to satisfactorily complete the project as outlines or implied in the Plans/Specifications. Personal and business checks will not be accepted. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, preferably executed on AIA Bond Form Number A311, in an amount equal to the total contract price, of a surety company satisfactory to the Purchasing Agent, will be required of the successful bidder. The Contractor shall furnish proof of coverage with adequate insurance of the types and to the limits specified in the bid specifications naming the City of Lewiston as additional insured. Certificate of such insurance shall be filed with the Purchasing Agent for his/her approval before permission to commence work will be granted.
