Print Bid Title: Airport Planning and Engineering Services Category: Economic Development Status: Closed Description: Request for Qualifications/Experience Statements - Airport Planning and Engineering Services The City of Belfast is seeking to retain the services of a consultant, experienced in the practice of airport planning and engineering advisory services in the State of Maine, as a multi-year Airport Engineer. The City of Belfast must receive qualification and experience statements no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on February 27, 2012 to be eligible for consideration. Each statement shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services at the Belfast Municipal Airport.” Complete packages, consisting of 5 copies of the statement, must be delivered to: Mr. Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director City of Belfast 131 Church Street Belfast, Maine 04915 Phone: (207) 338-3370 ext. 8 E-mail: Submittals delivered after the deadline will not be considered. All questions shall be directed in writing to the above office (e-mail ) and must be received by 2:00 p.m. local time on February 1, 2012. All questions will be answered by 2:00 p.m. local time on February 8, 2012 and posted on the City of Belfast website at http://www.cityofbelfast.org/bids.aspx. It will be the proposer’s responsibility to check the referenced website for any new amendments. Statements that do not incorporate this request for Airport Planning and Engineering Consultant Services may not be considered. TOUR OF BELFAST MUNICIPAL AIRPORT: A tour of Belfast Municipal Airport will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 7th (meeting at the office of Maine Scenic Airways, the Fixed Base Operator) for prospective respondents. Please contact Thomas Kittredge to RSVP for this tour. Participating in this tour is not mandatory in order to respond to this RFQ.
