The following instructions and specifications pertain to all bidders. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “City of Belfast Parks and Recreation Department Riding Mower”. Bidders are requested to submit their proposal(s) to the Office of the City Manager, 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915 on or before 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at which time bids will be publicly opened. All bids will contain printed mower specifications and illustrations. Bid price will include equipment delivery, shop / parts manuals of equipment and service location. The City of Belfast is exempt from all taxes. Federal excise certification shall be executed upon request to the favorable bidder. The City reserves the right to waive any formality, technicality or reject any and all bids. The award of the bid may be based on price, quality and/or service.
