Description

The United States Department of State (DOS), through Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), intends to procure water treatment maintenance services at the unclassified clearance level for the NEC Compound, U.S. Embassy Kigali, Rwanda.

The contractor shall provide routine and corrective maintenance, servicing, testing, and operational support for potable water treatment systems. Services include all labor, supervision, management, tools, equipment, water treatment chemicals, testing kits, logistics, transportation, shipping, customs coordination, and administrative support necessary to perform the work.

Systems to be maintained include, but are not limited to: domestic (potable) water treatment systems; filtration skid systems; reverse osmosis systems; centrifugal and booster pumps; electronic control panels, controllers, motor starters; and expansion/air separator tanks.

The scope of work generally includes application of physical and chemical treatment methods, equipment servicing, and water quality testing to control corrosion, scaling, deposits, and microbiological fouling of potable water systems.

All services shall be performed in accordance with generally accepted industry standards and applicable regulatory and safety requirements, including relevant NSF, AWWA, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, UL, IEEE, NEMA, OSHA standards, SDS requirements, and applicable manufacturer operation and maintenance instructions.
