Print Bid Title: Request for Proposal Airport 5-Year Engineer Category: Professional & Contracted Services Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR ENGINEERING PROPOSALS Mitchell Airport 5-year selection The City of Mitchell, South Dakota, will accept proposals from qualified engineering firms for engineering services for proposed development of the Mitchell Airport, Mitchell, South Dakota. Proposals will be accepted until December 8, 2017 and are to be submitted to: Director of Public Works, 612 N. Main, Mitchell, SD 57301. Please submit 6 copies of your proposal for the selection committee. Engineering services may include, but not be limited to: Pavement Maintenance, including joint sealing; Design Runway 18/36 reconstruction including lighting; Reconstruction of Runway 18/36; Apron Rehabilitation (now in the NPIAS). Proposals shall set forth qualifications, as noted in the “Consultant Selection Criteria for Airport Projects” to accomplish engineering services for the period from 2018-2022 inclusive. Copies of the “Consultant Selection Criteria for Airport Projects” may be obtained by contacting the Office of Public Works Director at the above address or by calling 605-995-8435. The selected firm is encouraged to obtain DBE engineering services where available or provide “Good Faith Effort”.
