Description
This specification covers copper sulfate pentahydrate for use in the control of algae, nonpublic health bacteria, aquatic weeds, mollusks, leeches and snails. The concentration of the copper sulfate shall be 19.8% copper sulfate pentahydrate wt% and be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved. Copper sulfate shall be delivered in bulk shipments of approximately 275-gallon totes per delivery, with an estimated annual usage of 1,000 gallons. Packaging and shipments shall conform to all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
