Print Bid Title: 71 High Street - Business Facade Project Category: Economic Development Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR BIDS CDBG BUSINESS FAÇADE GRANT PROJECT - 71 HIGH STREET, BELFAST The owners of the building located at 71 High Street, Belfast, Maine, seek qualified vendors to provide bids for making improvements to this building’s roof, primarily the installation of roofing, flashing, and gutters (the full bid package contains additional information regarding this scope of work). This work is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Façade Grant and is subject to all federal and state requirements for that program. The full bid package, which includes the full scope of work and supporting documentation, can be requested from Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director, City of Belfast (131 Church Street, Belfast; (207) 338-3370, extension 16; ), or it can be downloaded below (see 'Related Documents'). Questions regarding this project can also be directed to Mr. Kittredge. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting for any firms looking to bid on this project, to be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 5, 2014, at 71 High Street, Belfast, Maine (for reference, this is the location of MTA Accounting). Bids are due at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 16, 2014, and can be mailed or hand-delivered to: Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director, City of Belfast (Belfast City Hall, top floor), 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915. Bids submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted. The bid opening will take immediately following the bid deadline, and will be open to the public.
