Print Bid Title: 1st Street Asphalt Overlay Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk in the City Building, 400 East Military Avenue, Fremont, Nebraska, until 2:00 p.m., April 11, 2024, and be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers at that time for all tools, labor and materials necessary to complete the work required for 1ST STREET ASPHALT OVERLAY as per the Plans and Specifications prepared by the Engineering Department and on file with the City Clerk. ESTIMATE OF QUANTITIES 2400 Tons of Asphalt. The work is generally described as asphalt, mill and overlay on 1st Street from Main Street to Clarmar Avenue. AND, other associated work including curb ramps, rebuild manholes and inlets, adjust valves and implementing erosion control. Contractors that are qualified to bid must obtain the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents from the City Engineer’s office, 3rd. Floor, 400 East Military Avenue, Fremont, Nebraska. A nonrefundable deposit of $60.00 will be charged for each hard copy set of Plans and Specifications. Digital copies may be obtained, free of charge, by emailing the office of Civil Engineer at . All work shall conform to the City of Fremont’s Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, latest edition. The contractor shall commence work as soon as practical after execution of the contract and complete the work no later than September 30, 2024.
