<p>The Commission, having received less than two responsive bid on FWC 25/26-53 states its intent to withdraw FWC 25/26-53 and its intent to proceed with the purchase of boundary mulching in Chassahowitzka Wild Management Area, pursuant to section 287.057(6), Florida Statutes, in lieu of re-soliciting for competitive sealed bids. This is the final posting by the Commission on the Vendor Information Portal (VIP) regarding this ITB.</p><p>The Commission intends to proceed to negotiate on the best terms and conditions for the State of Florida. This is not an award for Solicitation FWC 25/26-53. This is a notice of withdrawal and proceeding as an exceptional purchase after receipt of less than two (2) responsive bids, per Solicitations section 287.057(6), Florida Statutes. This purchase is excepted by law from the requirements for competitive procurement. </p><p>Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
