Description
This solicitation requires the complete maintenance and operation of Safety Rest Area Sites 33 & 34 drinking water supply and wastewater treatment systems consistent with standard operating procedures and applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations for the protection of the public health and the environment.
All bidders must submit their bids electronically through the Commonwealth’s electronic system (SRM) via the PA Supplier Portal: www.pasupplierportal.state.pa. If you experience difficulty with bidding, please contact the Supplier Service Center at 877-435-7363 and choose option 1. No mailed bids will be accepted.
The Purchase Order awarded from this solicitation will be valid for 1 year. By mutual consent of both parties, this service shall be renewable two (2) times, each for a period of two (2) years. A maximum of three (3%) rate increase shall be applied to each item for each renewal period. The Commonwealth reserves the right, upon notice to the Contractor, to extend the term of the service for up to three (3) months upon the same terms and conditions. This will be utilized to prevent a lapse in service coverage and only for the time necessary, up to three (3) months, to enter into a new service agreement.
