Description
For this project, the town of Grand Chute will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the 2026 ROADWAY PROJECTS via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Electronic bids will be accepted until 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 10, 2026. After the official Bid closing time, Bids will be opened, reviewed and, if accepted, displayed. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning March 3, 2026. The work, in general, shall include the approximate quantities and items listed below: Culverts and End Sections (12-inch to 36-inch) 1600 L.F. \ Asphalt Roadway 4,900 TON \ Miscellaneous Sanitary Sewer Work \ Miscellaneous Water Distribution System Work \ Erosion Control \ Landscape Restoration \ This is a unit price contract. The approximate quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 66.0901, 66.0903, and 779.14 of the Wisconsin Statutes. \ Bids shall be submitted on the electronic Bid Form provided through QuestCDN. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier’s check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder’s maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. \ Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes, Sections 62.15 and 66.0901. \ Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more. \ This advertisement is published by authority of the town of Grand Chute, on February 24, 2026, and March 3, 2026.
