Bids & RFPs Print Bid Title: Waldo Avenue Sidewalk Project Construction Category: Public Services Status: Open Description: Sealed Bids for the construction of the Waldo Avenue Sidewalk Project will be received by the City of Rockland at Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland, Maine 04841, until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 8, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read. The project consists of sidewalk construction and drainage at Waldo Avenue in Rockland, Maine. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bid Documents is Landmark Corporation Surveyors & Engineers, 135 Rockland Street, Rockport, ME 04856, telephone 207-236-6757, contact Joel Lufkin, email . Prospective Bidders may examine the Bid Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Bid Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office electronically (PDF format) by email or, for a fee of $200 each, paper copies of Bid Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office via direct pick-up by contacting the Issuing Office by email ( ) or telephone (207-236-6757) in advance. Bid Documents will not be mailed. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bid Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on March 23, 2026, at the project site on Waldo Avenue in Rockland, Maine. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged. Outside envelope shall be plainly marked: Waldo Avenue Sidewalk Project. Not to be opened until 2:00 p.m. on April 8, 2026. Bidder may be represented at bid opening if so desired. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. The City of Rockland reserves the right to waive any informality in bids, to accept any bid, and to reject any or all bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
