Description

PURPOSE In order to be in compliance with federal, state andlocal purchasing laws, the Birdville Independent School District (BISD) issoliciting competitive sealed proposals for Facilities, Maintenance, and Transportationsupplies, equipment, services. Based on the {2024-2025} expenditure, the totalestimated contract on an annual basis $4,132,721, the catalog portion of thiscontract includes services and items that are subject to the maximum purchasing limitsestablished by CH Legal and BISD Board Policy. This is a supplemental proposalthat will not take the place of existing active RFCSP's, but allow for additionalopportunities for the award of vendors within these categories. CONTRACT TERM AND RENEWALS This proposal shall be effective from May 1st, 2026through April 30th, 2027. The District and Proposer may, upon mutual consent, extendthe contract for four (1) additional one-year periods (not to exceed a total of 5 years)upon written request of the Proposer presented not later than forty-five (45)days prior to the expiration of the contract. The rates can be adjusted upward or downwardbased on the price change specifications on the anniversary date if agreeable tothe district. If agreement cannot be reached, the contract is terminated at the endof the current contract period. An additional ninety (90) day transitional period shallbe added to the end of the contractual agreement if desired by the district. Thecontractual prices, terms and conditions shall remain inforce during the transitional period. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION Late proposals will not be accepted. No verbal,telephonic, electronic mail or faxed responses will be considered. The preferred method ofdelivery is through the e-bid system; however, paper responses will be accepted in thePurchasing Department prior to the due date and time.
