The work will be funded by the DEP Small Community Grant Program and will be subject to special requirements of the DEP. Bidding documents, including the approved design, may be obtained at the City of Belfast Planning and Codes Office, 131 Church St, Belfast Maine 04915 during regular office hours Monday – Thursday, 7am – 6pm. Inspection of the project site prior to bidding is highly recommended. Questions about the bidding process or approved design should be directed to the Planning and Codes Office, 338-3370 x125. Bid packages are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “City of Belfast – Smart Road Wastewater Project” and include a certificate of liability insurance. Bidders are requested to submit their proposal to the City Manager’s Office, 131 Church St, Belfast, Maine 04915, on or before 12:00 p.m., May 28, 2024 at which time bids will be publicly opened. The City of Belfast is exempt from taxes, therefore bids should exclude such taxes. The City of Belfast reserves the right to waive any formality or technicality.
