Description
The City of New Bern, NC, on behalf of its subrecipient, the New Bern Area Improvement Association, Inc., is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Omega Center Facility Improvements – ADA Compliant Bathroom Construction Project. Sealed bids must be submitted as hard-copy responses and received by the City of New Bern no later than March 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM (prevailing local time) at the Offices of the Department of Development Services, 303 First Street, New Bern, NC 28560. Only written and sealed proposals will be accepted. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Any proposal received after the time and date bids are due will be returned unopened. Immediately following the time bids are due, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting opportunity on March 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM (prevailing local time), located at 301 First Street, New Bern, NC, for questions and answers services. All inquiries or questions concerning this project must be submitted in writing and may be submitted to D'Aja Fulmore , Development Services. Formal questions and answers will close on March 12, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Responses to all written questions will be issued by written addendum no later than March 17, 2026, by 5:00 PM (prevailing local time). Submission of inquiries does not obligate the City of New Bern to respond. The City of New Bern reserves the right to reject any or all bids. RE-BID DS 26-01
