Print Bid Title: 2013 Ronin Pool Filter System Improvements Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: Sealed Proposals for the construction of “2013 Ronin Pool Filter System Improvements” for the City of Fremont, Nebraska, JEO Project No. 120385 will be received by the City Clerk at City Hall, Fremont, Nebraska, until 10:00 a.m. on the 22nd day of January, 2013, and thereafter will be read aloud. BASE BID 1 LS 2013 Ronin Pool Filter System Improvements, Complete The Engineer’s Opinion of Cost is $150,000. A pre-Bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 9th, 2013 at the City Hall in Fremont, Nebraska. Representatives of OWNER and ENGINEER will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference. ENGINEER will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as ENGINEER considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. No technical questions will be received or responded to within three (3) business days immediately preceding the bid opening time and date. In order to perform the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and concrete work for this project, the Contractor/sub-Contractor(s) will be required to be certified and licensed in the discipline of the work being performed. Contractor is required to procure and obtain all necessary certifications, licenses, and permits for this project at the Contractor’s expense. Contact the City of Fremont’s building department at 402-727-2638 or refer to the City of Fremont’s website for additional information. All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the ENGINEER and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of the City of Fremont, as liquidated damages, in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith. Plans, Specifications and Bid Documents may be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, Fremont, Nebraska, and will be issued by JEO Consulting Group, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 11717 Burt Street, Ste. 210, Omaha, Nebraska 68154. A payment of $75.00 for half size plans or $100.00 for full size, none of which will be returned, needs to be paid prior to plans and specifications being sent out.
