Description
The VENDOR shall furnish to the PURCHASER an affidavit from the manufacturer or supplier attesting the Sodium Hypochlorite solution furnished under this specification complies with ANSI/AWWA B300-18 requirement section. Also, the vendor shall furnish proof that the Sodium Hypochlorite supplied complies with ANSI /NSF Standard 60. Materials shall comply with the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act and other federal regulations for potable water, wastewater systems, and reclaimed water as applicable. All hypochlorites used in water disinfection are required to be registered with the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).*
