Description

The principal items of work and approximate quantities are:
Clean out and plug twenty-five (25) orphan oil and gas wells, estimated to be 750 to 2,500 feet in depth, to Department specifications.
Prepare and restore well sites/site.
Mobilize and demobilize plugging equipment.
Beginning on the Issue Date, free copies of bid documents can be obtained by going to www.BidExpress.com, PA Department of Environmental Protection.
MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for November 5th and November 6th, 2025, at 9 a.m. Representatives from the Department will meet the contractors at Tom Ridge Environment Center, 301 Peninsula Drive, Erie, PA 16505, 42.11016, -80.15411.
FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE CAUSE FOR REJECTION OF THE BID.
