Statement of Qualifications must be received at the City Manager’s Office, City of Morgantown, 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505, by Thursday, May 17, 2018. The proposals will be opened at 3:00 p.m. The Owner is seeking Request for Qualifications for an architectural and engineering firm to coordinate services with March-Westin, the designated Construction Manager at Risk (“CMR”). The services for design development and construction documents for the upgrades to the existing Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater, Riverfront Park and revitalization of the Walnut Street Landing. The City of Morgantown is planning to upgrade the existing Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater, Riverfront Park and revitalization to the Walnut Street Landing. The project will be located at the existing riverfront park and boat launch area in downtown Morgantown, West Virginia. Architectural and engineering renovations to the riverfront park will include expansion of the amphitheater stage and seating area, with an addition of canopies about the seats for shade relief. Upgrades to security features and entertainment equipment. A portion of the project will go towards creating a police sub-station near the park and making improvements to the historic train depot and restroom facility. The Walnut Street Landing will also see large scale improvements including utilities to connect a new large boat dock, and riverbank restoration and stabilization.
