Print Bid Title: Request for Proposal: 72 Cherry St. Municipal Sewer Connection Category: Public Works Status: Closed Additional Status Information: Mandatory Pre-BID Meeting at 9:00am Tuesday September 6, 2022 at the Project Site Bid Recipient: Dave Allerton, Public Works Director/Town Engineer Description: Town of Milton Proposed Municipal Sewer Connection – 72 Cherry St., Milton, VT 05468 Advertisement for Bids Bids for the Proposed Municipal Sewer Connection will be received by the Town of Milton (c/o David Allerton), at the Department of Public Works located at 43 Bombardier Rd. in Milton, VT 05468 until 10:00 AM on Friday, September 16th, 2022, at which time the Bids received will be privately opened. The project will be awarded based on a combination of cost (40%), previous experience (40%) and availability (20%). In addition to providing a cost estimate via the attached Bid Form, the Bids shall include a brief history of related work experience, as well as an anticipated timeline for construction and project completion. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 at the project site located at 72 Cherry St. in Milton, Vermont. The project involves a new municipal sewer connection for the residential house located at 72 Cherry St. in Milton, VT, the repair/replacement of impacted concrete sidewalk and driveway, the proper abandonment of the existing septic tank and wastewater disposal system, final site revegetation and other minor related items. Work shall be completed in accordance with the attached design plans prepared by Catamount Consulting Engineers, PLLC, dated June 27, 2022 as well as the attached approved State Wastewater System and Potable Water Supply Permit #WW-4-5805. The project shall be completed no later than October 31, 2022. Bid Documents will be issued by Catamount Consulting Engineers, PLLC ( or 802- 598-8081).
