Description

The California Department of Education (hereinafter referred to as CDE) is soliciting bids to provide monthly inspections, preventative maintenance, and as needed repair services on the refrigeration and freezer equipment located at the California Department of Education (CDE), Nutrition Services Division, Sacramento Distribution Center (SDC), 401 North 3rd Street, Sacramento, CA 95811 in accordance with the specifications contained herein this Invitation for Bid (IFB). It is anticipated that the contract start date will begin approximately on July 1, 2026. The actual start date of the contract is contingent upon approval of the agreement by the Department of General Services (DGS), if required. Contract includes two one-year options to renew. Award of a contract as a result of this IFB shall be contingent on DGS approval, CDE executive approval, funding and program authorization provided to and by the CDE.
