Print Bid Title: Airport Farm Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: INVITATION TO BID The City of Fremont, through the Pathfinder Company, is offering the Fremont Municipal Airport farmland for cash rent lease for the two year period of 2015 and 2016 crop years with an option to extend for two years with the rent adjusted based on University of Nebraska Department of Agriculture Economics, Nebraska Farm Real Estate Market Highlights. Farm Service Agency records show 199.9 cropland acres. Crops are restricted to alfalfa, soybeans and milo. NO corn or forage sorghum is allowed. The Farm Service Agency corn base is 70.0 acres with direct and counter cycle yield of 86 bushels per acre. FSA also shows a milo base of 128.3 acres with 73.0 bushels per acre yield. Any FSA payment for 2015 and 2016 crop production years are passed to lessee. Bid packets are to be returned to by February 24, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. to Pathfinder Company. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Lease is subject to signature by the Mayor of Fremont, Nebraska.
