BDC16-25/26</strong></p><p> </p><p>The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below.</p><p> </p><p><strong>PROJECT NAME</strong>: <strong>DEP- Office of Resilience & Coastal Protection - SE Region – Quayside Dock Shoreline Stabilization </strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE</strong>: No later than <strong>3:30 pm (ET), Thursday</strong>, <strong>February 19, 2026</strong>, to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Boulevard, MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000, Attention: Alisha Sadler, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-3127. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids.</p><p> </p><p><strong>BID POSTING DATE</strong>: No later than <strong>3:30 pm (ET), Thursday</strong>,<strong> February 26, 2026</strong>, unless extended by the Department for good cause.</p><p> </p><p><strong>INSTRUCTIONS</strong>: Documents for this bid will be available for download on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Any firm desiring a Project Manual with the plans for this project may obtain directions by emailing <a href="mailto:BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us">BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us</a>.</p><p> </p><p><strong>SCOPE OF WORK</strong>: </p><p><strong>Base Bid:</strong> </p><p><strong>Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to remove and dispose of the existing dock.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Alternate #1:</strong></p><p><strong>Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to place rip rap for shore stabilization per the contract documents.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Alternate:#2</strong></p><p><strong>Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to install a new dock per the contract documents.</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Longshoreman’s Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price. </strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Note:</strong> Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP’s Bureau of Design and Construction. To request a pre-qualification letter, the bidder should email <a href="mailto:BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us">BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us</a>. Failure to file a Notice of Intent to Protest or a formal, written Protest in accordance with Rule 28-110, F.A.C., within ten days after the 72-hour period ends, as prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, shall constitute a waiver of your right to an administrative hearing on the Bid Specifications under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes. Rules for bid protests can be found in sections 120.569 and 120.57, F.S., and Chapter 28-110, Florida Administrative Code. A bid protester shall comply with these statutes and rules.</p>
