Print Bid Title: NOTICE TO BIDDERS: MARC Phase 1-Tier 1C Category: Parks and Recreation Status: Open Description: Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Brunswick Town Hall at 85 Union St., Brunswick, ME 04011 until 2:00 p.m. (local time), Thursday, March 19, 2026 , at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The work site is located at 220 Neptune Drive, Brunswick, ME. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion the work shown on the Drawings and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Earthwork, layout, grading, and drainage for two (2) asphalt basketball courts with perimeter fencing, a storage shed, internal concrete sidewalks and coordination with a separate electrical contractor for sports lighting. There will be a pre-bid meeting on site at 11 am on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 to discuss project specifics. It should be assumed for bidding purposes that construction can start as early as May 7, 2026 , but the start date is flexible, and will be substantially complete by October 1, 2026 and final completion by October 15, 2026 . Complete sets of the Drawings, Specifications, and Bid Forms may be obtained from Jason Pollard with CHA Consulting at or (518) 453-4529, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contract Documents will be provided electronically in PDF format and may be obtained at no cost. Contractors that obtain Contract Documents from a source other than the Issuing Office must notify the Issuing Office in order to be placed on the official Plan Holders List, receive Addenda, and other Bid correspondence. Bids received from Contractors other than those on the official Plan Holders list will not be accepted. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions. ENGINEER will transmit to all prospective bidders of record such addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising during the bidding process. All questions shall be submitted to Jason Pollard with CHA Consulting at by 12pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 . A final addendum will be issued by Thursday, March 12, 2026 . No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. This is a unit price bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids.
