Marathon County Facilities & Capital Management Request for Proposals Redevelopment of Former UWSP-Wausau Campus Project Summary Marathon County, in conjunction with the city of Wausau, is seeking redevelopment proposals for the former site of the Wausau campus of University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point at Wausau (UWSP-Wausau), located at 518 S 7th Avenue in Wausau, WI. The County will review Developer proposals and prioritize them according to job creation potential, impact on workforce housing, market demand, and highest economic and financial benefit to the County; however, the County will review all proposals, regardless of the nature of corporate status (i.e., corporation, non-profit, etc.,), and reserves the right to select the proposal it determines to be in the best interest of the County consistent with the evaluation criteria stated herein. The Developer has the option to pursue rezoning the property with the City of Wausau.
