Previous Q&A related to this grant opportunity can be found on Advertisement Number: GO-12506, Addendum No. 03.</p><p>The Florida Department of Children and Families (Department), Office of Domestic Violence (ODV), is the administering state agency for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Services, Officers, Training and Prosecutors (STOP) Formula Grant (hereinafter referred to as ‘STOP Grant’). STOP Grants are intended to improve and enhance responses to the four crime areas by law enforcement, prosecution, courts, and victim services. The four crime areas targeted by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women are: 1) Domestic Violence; 2) Dating Violence; 3) Sexual Assault; and 4) Stalking.</p><p>The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to provide funding to eligible organizations to implement programs that support communities in efforts to develop and strengthen effective prosecution strategies to combat violent crimes against women, and to develop and strengthen victim services in cases involving violent crimes against women.</p>
