Print Bid Title: Request for Qualifications for Marketing Plan to Promote Accessible Outdoor Recreation Category: Planning & Economic Development Status: Closed Description: SUMMARY The Town of Milton, in conjunction with the Milton Department of Planning and Zoning and the Recreation Department, wishes to procure the services of a creative marketing consultant to develop and execute a goal-focused plan to promote the Town of Milton’s accessible and age-friendly outdoor recreation attractions. The project shall include: the development of twelve (12) promotional videos, the development of collateral materials (such as brochures and/or flyers), and the development and execution of a promotional/advertising plan. The consultant supplying this service must demonstrate an understanding of the broader goal and an ability to work within budget and project constraints. The budget for this project is dictated by grant funding, and deliverables must include the development of 12 promotional videos. The length, style and content of the videos remains undefined. The successful consultant must enter into a professional services contract with the Town of Milton and must abide by all contract conditions and procure all pertinent insurance requirements. CONSULTANT SELECTION PROCESS The Town will select a consultant based on a three-part process, beginning with this request for qualifications (RFQ). Select qualified consultants will be invited to an interview with the selection committee. Finalists will be asked to produce a one-page proposed promotional plan based on the information provided. The selected consultant will demonstrate the ability to develop a goal-focused strategy that works within the budget and to execute the plan within defined project parameters. SUBMITTAL AND TIMETABLE A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. (EST) in person in the Community Room at 43 Bombardier Road, Milton, VT, or virtually via zoom.
