Print Bid Number: 20221028 Bid Title: Heavy Duty All-Wheel Drive Crew Cab Chassis, Utility Box, or complete package Category: Vehicle / Equipment Bids Status: Closed Bid Recipient: Essex Fire Department Description: The Town of Essex is seeking proposals for one (1) All Wheel Drive Heavy Duty Crew Cab Chassis with Utility Body and Associated Equipment. Sealed proposals will be received by the Essex Fire Department (mailing address: c/o 81 Main St., Essex Jct., VT 05452), until 1PM local time, November 25, 2022. The opening of bids will commence on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 3pm at the Essex Fire Station, 188 Sand Hill RD, Essex, VT at which time the proposals will be opened and read. Any proposal received after this time will be returned, unopened, to the bidder. After staff review, the proposals will be considered for approval and the notifications made to bidders. Proposals may be submitted for 1) Cab and Chassis; 2) Utility Body and Associated Equipment including installation; or 3) Complete Unit. All proposals will be on the basis of cash payment for the items provided and accepted as stipulated under the bid documents and minimum specifications. Cash payment will be made within sixty (60) days of delivery. Copies of the bid documents and specifications are attached. The Town of Essex reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities in any bid, to hold bids under consideration for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from said date of opening of bids, and to accept the bid that is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Essex.
