Description
<p>The Department held a public opening on March 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM in regard to Bid Number DOT-ITB-26-9063-CA Aluminum Materials - Federal (REBID). There were no competitive bids received. </p><p>It is the Department’s intent to exercise its rights to enter into negotiations as outlined within Section 287.057(6), F.S. which states “If less than two responsive bids, proposals, or replies for commodity or contractual services purchase are received, the department or other agency may negotiate on the best terms and conditions. The department or other agency shall document the reasons that such action is in the best interest of the state in lieu of resoliciting competitive sealed bids, proposals or replies.” </p><p> </p><p>A copy of the bid tabulation is provided below.</p>
