Description

This solicitation is being created by PennDOT Allegheny County – Saxonburg for the procurement of plant mixed asphalt product containing various percentages of 19mm RAP material for Saxonburg Allegheny County. This agreement will include Department Force pickup of material, vendor delivery of asphalt, and vendor hauling of millings. Under this agreement, the awarded vendor will also receive a total of approximately 10,000 tons of RAP millings delivered to the vendor’s plant nearest to the jobsite. This agreement will be used to support highway maintenance operations in Allegheny County. There is no goal for Small Diverse Businesses (SDB) or Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE) on this solicitation, but bidders are encouraged to subcontract with SDB and VBE firms.
