LEGAL NOTICE The Board of County Commissioners of Wayne County, Ohio, will accept sealed bids on or before 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, MARCH 31, 2026, for the: CR54 / CR80 ROAD REHABILITATION AND RESURFACING PROJECT The Invitation to Bid is for construction services for the full depth reclamation of the roadway and resurfacing of the roadway, 1.5" of asphalt. The Invitation to Bid, including all project specifications, may be obtained electronically by emailing Ryan Marthey, P.E., Drainage/Highway Engineer, at rpm@wayne-county-engineer.com . Copies may also be obtained from the Wayne County Commissioners Office, located at 428 W. Liberty St. Wooster, OH 44691. All questions must be submitted in writing, via email, to the individual named above. Interested firms are responsible for ensuring that emails are successfully sent and received. Interested bidders must submit a bid in accordance with the requirements of the ITB. Bidders are requested to submit: one (1) original and one (1) copy of their bid AND a complete copy of the bid on a USB in Microsoft Office or PDF format as appropriate. The Board takes no responsibility for damaged or unreadable USB submissions. The submissions MUST be in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked: BID FOR CR54 / CR80 ROAD PROJECT. The outside of the sealed envelope shall also include the name and address of the firm. If a bid proposal is submitted by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal must be enclosed in an outer envelope addressed to the Board and designated as a bid for the project. Any bid not received at or before 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, MARCH 31, 2026, will be disqualified. Immediately following the deadline for the submission, all bid proposals received on time will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commissioners Meeting Room, located on the Upper Level of the Wayne County Administration Building, 428 West Liberty Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
