Print Bid Title: Bell Street Asphalt Overlay Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS BELL STREET ASPHALT OVERLAY FREMONT, NEBRASKA Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk in the City Building, 400 East Military Avenue, Fremont, Nebraska, until 2:00 p.m., December 18, 2019, and be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers at that time for all tools, labor and materials necessary to complete the work required for BELL STREET ASPHALT OVERLAY as per the Plans and Specifications prepared by the Engineering Department and on file with the City Clerk. ESTIMATE OF QUANTITIES 2500 Tons of Asphalt. The work is generally described as asphalt, mill and overlay on Bell Street AND, other associated work including curb ramps, adjust manholes and valves, and replacement of vehicle loop detectors. Contractors to be qualified to bid must obtain the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents from the City Engineer’s office, 3rd Floor, 400 East Military Avenue, Fremont, NE. A non-refundable deposit of $40.00 will be charged for each hard copy set of Plans and Specifications. All work shall conform to the City of Fremont’s Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, latest edition. The contractor shall commence work as soon as practical after execution of the contract and complete the work no later than July 1, 2020.
