Print Bid Title: Request for Bids - Business Façade Grant Project - The Belfast Center (9 Field Street, Belfast) Category: Economic Development Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR BIDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT BUSINESS FAÇADE GRANT PROJECT THE BELFAST CENTER 9 FIELD ST, BELFAST, ME 04915 The owner of the building located at The Belfast Center, located at 9 Field St., Belfast, Maine, seeks qualified vendors to provide bids for the following services: 1. Construction of a new ADA compliant ramp. 2. Construction of a set of stairs leading to the 2nd floor where the old ramp currently exists plus demo and hauling away of the existing old ramp. 3. Replacement of a new main entry door. 4. Porch-style roofs constructed over each of the three entry ways. The full bid package contains additional information regarding this scope of work. Each of the 4 pieces of the project shall be line itemed in the event that because of escalating costs of materials, one or two parts of the project need to be postponed until 2022. This work is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Façade Grant and is subject to all federal and state requirements for this program. Davis Bacon wage rates will apply for this project. Questions regarding this project can also be directed to Ms. LaRochelle. Bids are due at 3:00 PM, 20 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER PUBLICATION. If the deadline falls on a Friday, the weekend, or a holiday, then the next non-holiday business day will become the due date. Bids submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place immediately following the bid deadline and will be open to the public.
