Description

Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) is seeking qualified vendors to design and deliver Job Readiness Workshops as part of the WSB NextForce Career Coaching Model. This integrated workforce development approach combines work experience, career coaching, and structured reflection. This project is intended to prepare youth and young adults for successful participation in internships and work‑based learning experiences and to strengthen their transition into career‑aligned employment.Unlike traditional workforce preparation models that rely primarily on one‑time, pre‑employment training, the NextForce Career Coaching Model embeds ongoing workforce readiness support throughout the participant's work experience. Through a combination of pre‑placement preparation workshops and coaching sessions delivered during the internship period, participants receive timely skill development, guidance, and opportunities to reflect on real‑world workplace challenges as they arise. The workshops will serve youth and young adults ages 14–24, including opportunity youth, college students or recent graduates with limited professional experience, and youth and young adults with disabilities. Instruction must be interactive, trauma‑informed, culturally responsive, and adaptable to varying levels of workforce readiness and learning needs.Vendors will be responsible for delivering group‑based workshops that address key employability competencies, including communication, professionalism, career exploration, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, job search strategies, and peer learning. Workshops will be delivered primarily in person and structured to align with internship placements lasting 220-480 hours. Vendors must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and cohort sizes while maintaining consistency with the NextForce Career Coaching Model. The ultimate goal of this project is to increase participant confidence, persistence, skill development, and overall readiness for unsubsidized employment by integrating career coaching and skill reinforcement directly into the work experience.

FAQ

How do I use the Market Snapshot?

It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.

Is the data live?

The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.

What do P10 and P90 mean?

P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
