WANTED TO LEASE BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA - BAKERSFIELD The Department of Rehabilitation is looking for approximately 6,500 nusf of space in the Bakesfield area plus 26 parking spaces. Buildings submitted must: 1) Be Asbestos Hazard-free upon occupancy; 2) Accommodate State plans, specs., seismic safety, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applic. codes (California Building Code & Title 24); 3) Be close to public trans.; and 4) Comply with Disab.Vet. Bus. Enterprise requirements. The State of California will, where cost effective, give preference to those buildings which demonstrate LEED or Energy Star compliance.
